

Q: Is Dirt Buggy suitable for children?
A: At present our minimum age for driving is 12 subject to height restrictions. We regret that we have no activities for younger guests. However, Junior buggies are coming! Check back soon for details.
Q: Are spectators allowed?
A: Absolutely! We have a great spectator area with picnic tables overlooking the Dirt Buggy track. When it’s wet there’s an indoor area where you can relax and enjoy refreshments.
Q: What equipment do you provide?
A: We supply helmets, gloves and waterproof overalls in a range of sizes.
Q: I’m organising a work event. Can I can read your health and safety policy?
A: At Dirt Buggy we take the safety of our guests very seriously. We provide all safety required by health and safety legislation and regularly inspect and maintain our equipment and track to a high standard. We have a full set of documents that you can pass on to your health and safety department, please feel free to contact us for a copy.
Q: Do I need to bring my driving license?
A: Some driving experience is desirable, but a full driving license is not required. However, for younger drivers, we need proof that you are 16 years of age as well as signed permission from a parent or guardian.
Q: I’ve never driven on a racing circuit before. Are there instructors?
A: Before racing you will have a safety briefing and our instructors are on hand to answer any questions and give you driving tips to get the best out of your Dirt Buggy experience.
Q: Is there somewhere I can buy food at the track?
A: We sell snacks such as crisps, chocolates and drinks. For group bookings we can organise on-site catering facilities, providing hot food served buffet style. This needs to be arranged at time of booking, please call us on 01691 839475 and we will send you a selection of menus. We are fully licenced but there is no drinking until after racing policy.
Q: Are there toilets at the site?
A: Yes, we have full wash room facilities that also have disabled access.
Q: How long does racing last?
A: This depends on the activity booked. Generally speaking, for a group booking allow 2 to 3 hours for Dirt Buggy racing (see pricing section).
Q: What can I expect when I turn up?
A: After welcome and introduction, you change into the racing gear supplied and have a safety briefing. Then it’s onto the track for your driving session and racing.
Q: Is my deposit refundable on cancellation?
A: It may be transferable to another date, providing that you give us sufficient time to re-schedule your track time (usually 72 hours)
Q: What are your opening times?
A: We are open seven days a week. Summer hours are 10.00am to 8.00pm.
